Eastern Ontario Friends of Conservatory Canada is a group of teachers, parents and students who are affiliated with the Conservatory Canada examination system living in the Ottawa area. The group was founded in 1996 to host a gala recital annually where local musicians are presented with scholarships for the highest marks in various categories. This will generally be held on the Second Saturday each May, with details distributed by e-mail to members annually. The group also hosts workshops biannually with topics that interest teachers and their students/parents.
